PREPFAB MOTORSPORT ENGINEERING is a family-run business, proudly owned and operated by Richard and Helen Lepley since 1987. Today, their son Oliver is also involved in the business, continuing the family tradition.
With a rich history in rallying and motorsport, PREPFAB has been involved in the development and construction of many well-known competition cars, while also manufacturing specialist competition components for leading teams and retail outlets.
As Richard eases back from customer commissions and focuses more on personal projects, PREPFAB is now pleased to offer a secure, professional vehicle storage facility for a select number of clients.

The Facility
Purpose-built, insulated and highly secure
This brick-constructed insulated building sits on PREPFAB's private premises and is in direct view of the family home. The facility is fully alarmed, monitored by modern CCTV, protected by a permanent exterior drained dehumidifier system, and backed up by an additional layer of security from the resident dog.
Annual certificated fire extinguishers are in place, and PREPFAB is proud to say there have been no security incidents or insurance claims relating to theft or attempted theft during the last 10 years at the property.

Transport Services
Collection and delivery can be arranged using PREPFAB's own Brian James enclosed RS3 trailer or Bateson heavy-duty flatbed trailer. UK-wide transport is available subject to cost, and national or international transport can also be arranged.
Terms & Conditions
Simple, clear storage terms
- Minimum storage term: 3 months
- Deposit: One month's storage fee, refundable upon vehicle removal
- Payment: First month in advance, then monthly by direct debit
- Cancellation: 30 days' written notice required
- Access notice: Minimum 24 hours required
- Usage: Storage only. No external works permitted on-site by clients
Insurance
The facility is fully insured for vehicles on-site, including while awaiting or undergoing PREPFAB work. Vehicles driven by PREPFAB staff are covered under the company's road risk policy.
Important:
Owners must maintain their own insurance policy throughout the storage period and must inform their insurer that the vehicle is stored with PREPFAB.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions
When can I access my vehicle?
Access is strictly by appointment only, with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm in 1-hour allocated slots. Access outside these hours may be possible at PREPFAB's discretion.
Can I work on my vehicle at your premises?
No. Client access is for viewing or collection only. All work must be carried out by PREPFAB.
Can PREPFAB manage maintenance and MOTs?
Yes. With full workshop facilities, PREPFAB can undertake anything from routine servicing to full restoration, subject to availability. MOT testing can be arranged and managed through a trusted local partner.
Do you offer valeting and detailing?
Yes. Services can be arranged from a standard valet through to professional detailing and ceramic coating.
Can you road exercise my vehicle?
Yes. Periodic road use can be carried out under PREPFAB trade plates and motorsport insurance, if required.
Do you provide condition reports?
Yes. Vehicles are extensively photographed and documented upon arrival and collection, and reports can be supplied on request.
